The 2025 CITES Environmental Services Exhibition is located in Hall 7 of Shougang Park, with an exhibition area of 6,600 square meters. Under the theme of "Green Productivity Empowering the Earth's Homeland", the exhibition will implement the concept of green development and promote comprehensive green transformation of the economy and society. The exhibition will focus on three core contents: new energy and low-carbon energy services, environmental and ecological services and circular economy, and green and low-carbon digital technology and services. Comprehensively present the results of the construction of a new energy system, pollution prevention and ecological construction process, as well as the practical experience of green low-carbon technology transformation of traditional industries. In terms of conference activities, the environmental services theme will deepen cooperation with industry organizations to plan and hold a variety of conference forums and promotion and docking activities with rich contents. The environmental services theme will be hosted by the Capital Exhibition Group, with the International Green Economy Association of Chaoyang District, Beijing, as the organizing service unit.
Activities
The first "Blast Furnace Forum and Green Integration Digital Development Forum" consists of a main forum and parallel forums. The main forum was organized by the International Gas Union (IGU), Shougang Group, Capital Exhibition Group, International Green Economy Association, and hosted by Energy Saving and Environmental Protection Magazine. Chairman-in-Office of the China Iron and Steel Industry Association (CISIA), Mr. Zhao Mingge, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shougang Group, and Ms. Mihoko Kumamoto of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). They shared their experiences in green development, energy cooperation, technological transformation and industrial integration under the vision of sustainability, fully demonstrating the international and professional nature of the forum. The forum was opened by the theme of global energy sustainable development exchange. Academician Liu He of the Chinese Academy of Engineering firstly put forward his insights on the practice and thinking of digital transformation in the natural gas industry. Mr. Paulo Corte Real Neves, Vice President of Raízen Group, Brazil, shared the latest scientific and technological achievements in the field of biomass energy, and gave a glimpse of the future energy transformation. Prof. Lu Xie from Tsinghua University provided insights on energy transition and urban renewal, providing strategies for transition under climate change and guiding the way to green development. In addition, the roundtable is one of the highlights of the forum, bringing together Mr. Sun Xiansheng, President of the International Energy Transition Society, Mr. Jia Tieying, Vice President of Total Energy LNG, Mr. Craig Pasch, General Manager and Chief Representative of Woodside China, Mr. Frank Hammes, CEO of IQAir and other representatives of international companies.
