Jiangsu Province issued the "waste activated carbon comprehensive utilization of pollution control technology specifications (draft for comments)

The Department of Ecology and Environment of Jiangsu Province has issued the Technical Specification for Pollution Control of Comprehensive Utilization of Waste Activated Carbon (Draft for Public Comments). This document stipulates the general requirements for the comprehensive utilization of pollution control of waste activated carbon generated by the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) treatment process (excluding the process of fume treatment in the catering industry) using heat treatment regeneration technology, the requirements for in-plant analysis, collection, packaging, transportation and storage requirements, process requirements, environmental protection requirements, as well as requirements for the control of the technical indicators of the products of comprehensive utilization and the requirements for operation and management. It is applicable to the pollution control of the comprehensive utilization process of waste activated carbon, and can be used as the technical basis for the environmental impact assessment of construction projects related to the comprehensive utilization process of waste activated carbon, the design of environmental protection facilities, the acceptance of completed environmental protection, the management of emission permits, and the audit of clean production.
